Arif Sikder (35), a member of the Ward Jubodol, who was shot in Hatirjheel, Dhaka, has died. He died while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 9 am today, Monday. Labani Akhter, the sister of deceased Arif Sikder, has filed a murder case as the plaintiff. Hatirjheel Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Raju told Prothom Alo that 10 people have been named as accused in the case. Miscreants shot Arif Sikder dead at the entrance of Morol Gali in Hatirjheel late on Saturday night. Dhaka Medical College Hospital Police Outpost Inspector Md. Faruk informed that the body has been kept in the morgue for autopsy.
